Changes Are Constent

Changing interests and focuses in our lives make life more interesting and FUN. With that in mind I have added a couple more blogs: Preschool Learning Adventure and Mama's Reading Nook both are linked to Primarily A Mama blog. This will stay as my main page, but the others you can access through the tabs above. I will make excerpt posts here for each post written on the other blogs and link them so you can just click and go. I hope this will help keep things better organized and clean looking for myself and all of you.

I Came To Earth As Part Of A Family. February 2009 week 1

Prepreation: Use GAK - 100(Creation - Living Things), 101 (Adam and Eve), 119 (Adam and Eve Teaching Their Children), 600 (The World), or other pictures you may have in retelling the story of the creation and Adam and Eve.
In the Old Testament in Genesis 1-4 we can read about the creation of the earth and of Adam and Eve.

We learn that God created the world for us. He created the sky/world, light/darkness, land/water, plants and trees, All types of animals, then he created Man, He created bodies for Adam and Eve. They where married and lived in the Garden of Eden, they helped take care of it. They also walked and talked with God. They were commanded not to eat from the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil. They where told never to eat of the fruit, or they would die (Genesis 2:16-17). Eve partook of the fruit then, later Adam also partook of the forbidden fruit. The Lord came to be with them and after realizing what Adam and Eve had done, told them what would happen to them, they would have to work, and bear children, raise them. The Lord explained life would be hard for them. He also told them that a Savior would be provided so that if they kept the commandments, and repented of their sins, they would one day return to live in Heaven with Him. Adam and Eve where then cast out of the Garden. (Genesis 3). There they had a family of many sons and daughters. Adam and Eve taught the Lords teaching to their children.
Some of the descendents of Adam and Eve are: Seth, Enos, Cainan, Mahalaleel, Jared, Enoch, Methuselah, Lamech, Noah, Shem, Ham, and Japheth (Genesis 5).
We are also decedents of Adam and Eve. They where the very first parents on earth. Through them came many prophets, apostle, and millions of wonder people like you and me.
