Changes Are Constent

Changing interests and focuses in our lives make life more interesting and FUN. With that in mind I have added a couple more blogs: Preschool Learning Adventure and Mama's Reading Nook both are linked to Primarily A Mama blog. This will stay as my main page, but the others you can access through the tabs above. I will make excerpt posts here for each post written on the other blogs and link them so you can just click and go. I hope this will help keep things better organized and clean looking for myself and all of you.

I Am A Spirit Child Of Hevenly Father. January 2009 week 4

Preparation: Gather pictures of family members (and extended family, if you wish also) and place in gift boxes or bags, or wrap them up, into a gift.
Make paper link chains to attach to pictures as they are unwrapped.

Lesson: When we come to live on earth Heavenly Father gave us some very important gifts to each of us to have. Lay the gifts out and let every member pick a gift to unwrap. As each gift is unwrapped pause for a moment and let everyone mention a way that person has been a gift to them personally.
Make a chain with the picture links to show how the family needs each other.

Tell the following story:
A Day at the Park
The Whites had been planning their Saturday trip to the park all week long. But when Saturday morning finally came, four-year-old Lisa was sick. Jimmy and Brian said they still wanted to go to the park. Mother said she would stay home with Lisa, so father, Jimmy, and Brian packed their lunches and left for the park. Jimmy and Brian jumped out of the car as soon as they stopped and ran to the swings. They rolled in the grass and played on the climbing bars and slide all morning. But when they sat down on the grass to eat lunch, Jimmy said, “I wish Lisa and mommy were here. It’s not as much fun without everybody.”
Brian said, “I miss them, too. And I know how much Lisa likes to play at the park.”
Father suggested they go home and eat their lunch. When they got home, Lisa was excited to see them. She was feeling better, so they all ate lunch together in the backyard.
Brian said, “Next time we go to the park, we can all go together.”
“And it will be a lot more fun,” added Jimmy.
Lesson 21: Family Unity, Family Home Evening Resource Book, pg 94

In "The Family: A Proclamation to the World," an official declaration released in 1995, Church leaders proclaimed that "marriage between a man and a woman is ordained of God and that the family is central to the Creator's plan for the eternal destiny of His children." God's plan enables families who live the gospel and receive the necessary ordinances to be together forever with Him. (Gospel Library, Family,
